Was it something I said?
Everybody is leaving!
This from today's Plain Dealer:
Between 2000 and 2007, Ohio's largest county lost more people - both in numbers and as a percentage of its population - than any of America's 100 largest counties. During that span, Northeast Ohio lost nearly 50,000 people, according to a Plain Dealer analysis of the census data.
This makes me so sad. What will it take to get people to stay in Cleveland?
I have lost about half a dozen friends to bigger cities. More progressive cities.
Why can't we be a quirky midwest town like Minneapolis?
Cleveland is like the guy who keeps losing his girlfriend to other women or artistic, fey straight guys. He doesn't know why.
He has a nice house in Brook Park. He takes her to all the Brown's games. On weekends he treat's her to dinner at Applebees or Outback. What the eff?! What more does she want?!
